So Germany lost the final to Spain, who clearly wanted and deserved it more. Plus they were cuter. But anyway. People are still driving around honking, so either a) this is the best country ever and they’re celebrating their 2nd place finish, or b) honks of anger sound just like honks of joy. Who knows.

Well, within about half an hour of my arrival, Germany has apparently beaten Turkey at soccer, and is advancing to the finals of something.
